After the fierce race betwean the top CVs, Low Tide [LOE] managed to snap the first position in the very last hours of the era. Elite Warriors [EWA] held the first position for a couple of days, but wasn't able to keep it when [LOW] started their victory march. We have taken the opportunity to talk to the leaders of these to convergences: [LOE] YOMEGA and [EWA] Maymann.

Q: Greetings [LOE] YOMEGA, what can you tell us about your CV's endgame race for the gnosis top CV? What actually happened there in the very end?

A: Well, this was a weird one because usually we have 3 obvious race contenders. So we know who to keep pace with all era and to keep a eye on as it where, but as 1 of those CV's pretty much collapsed this era and another seamed to go dormant, most of the era and the last one didn't seem to want be in the race this era. We looked to WAR as our main competitor.

So we had some pretty cool fights with them all era. Then suddenly they had some internal problems and a group of their members joined EWA, who we don't usually keep track of. So the last 2 weeks or so we diverted our attention to beating EWA, lol. This is why I said this era was complicated and stressful as we had no clear enemy and it left us with a lot of guse work.

In a way we over estimated this era's competition and underestimate our own position. I don't mean that in an arrogant way but this era we won on 9 different ladder rankings of first place. I put this down to a lot of hard work by us, but also a case of a lot of the old Lockpick CV's opting out this era and a lot of new CV's from age only just finding their feet and not being equipped to race for the top spots yet. Also this CV everyone is pretty dedicated and one minded which ever role they take, they give it their all even if there brain is melting from too much PvE /PvP or crafting lol.

In the end it seems the real threat was from GNG on the gnosis ladder at least and war certainly took the crafting with DIE taking 1 ladder. On a final not I'm really happy a Lockpick CV took first this era. We couldn't let the age lads take us there first era in and as most of the old guard CVs from Lockpick where on a break this era. We needed to fly the flag for the era 1 CVs from this server, so all I can say really is *Cheers to the old guard*.

Q: What's your thoughts on the new ladder system, where CV quests also has a role in the score? Is this something that can make it harder, or maybe even easier for you CV to win this Era?

A: I like the idea of more than 1 ladder counting to a CV winning the era, I mean if this had been the case era 3 would have been ours lol, but it wasn't so this new addition seams cool though. I think it should be about overall 1st spots on all ladders not so much determined by 2 ladders. But this is certainly an improvement, if the drop rate for some of the more harder to get ingredients are more easily obtainable this era. As last era we were halted on several quests simply because no one, no matter how much they PvE'd, could get certain scrolls ... and the ones on market where way over priced lol.

Do I think this will make this easier for us to win the era? No era is easy to win. It's a lot of hard work from all concerned in CV and a lot of team work and it's very hard to predict an outcome. I'm sure we will rank well and I hope we can make it a hat trick on the era wins. I think it's nice to see DIE make a comeback this era and I know that they and some other CV's will certainly be ones to watch for us. Anyways, thanks for another interview and allowing me to bore the game population some more. Also want to say thank u to my CV m8s for giving there best in era 5 cheers lads!

Q: Greetings [EWA] Maymann, what's your version of this. What can you tell us about the endgame action from [EWA]'s point of view?

A: Well we never really thought we would be high in the gnosis ladder in endgame. EWA has not been that active during most of era, but has recently gotten new highly active players in, so I expect us to be better in era 6. Of course we distributed SS at end of era to get most use of them with low gnosis players.

Q: What about you Maymann? What's your thoughts on the new ladder system? Is this something that can make it harder, or maybe even easier for you CV to win this Era?

A: I like the new Winner-ladder that includes quests, so it’s not just a run for gnosis. I think we do quite well in quests, and it won't make our chances worse in winning future eras. I'm not sure though, that we are actually matter than other top clans in quest area. In era 5 we completed all but 8 or 9 quests as I remember.

We wish to thank YOMEGA and Maymann for this interviews and wishes him the best in the future

Cheers
