Recently my beta premium status expired, and I was suprised to see that selling on the market is a premium thing.

As you can see (as of the current market prices) they are way up, as opposed to when all of the premium statuses were around. It's almost like market inflation now. 100 for wood....

Anyway, isn't the premium and now premium points enough of a hinderence to a basic member? Why make the market premium also? I was one of those players who mostly toyed with the market, because the economics of it was enjoyable. It added a whole new aspect to the game.

There are 2 things i find unnecessary ...

1. Trading points... I failed to see why would anyone need this.
2. Being Premium member to use market. (this is just annoying).

I think the trait points penalty is savier enough for non-premium members. Also, like MasterCyria said, this will drive the economy down the drain... the prices will go up and resources will be 100 ss for each again.

To fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting.

I think trading points might be good for non-premium when they interact with the market. Or, the market should be completely open. I want to be able to sell things again, lol.

You need the trading points to prevent someone from making 3 alt accounts, one for each resource type, and just sticking all their workers in there and funneling the output to their main account.

that almost works but you need them all in the same conversion and u cant just join in and out because there is 30 days cool down period

so no your logic doesn't apply here unless you plan on creating conversion just for that reason... then noone will want to join that conversion

Hmm... Just doing 1-2 Battles per account per day would be enough in my opinion. Taking advantage of the double soulshard bonuses would allow them to quickly convert SS into Gnosis for more followers/workers.

Unless someone just wants to play with 2 or 3 of their RL friends. They form up and each make a couple Alt accounts to funnel into their convergence and voila, free resources.

Which is highly possible, hence the requirement of Trade Points to prevent misuse/abuse.

All valid arguments... but then you will never be #1 CV ... i am not sure what the reward will be this era.. but the old DL game had a superb DL equipment as a reward to all members of the winning CV... so if you just want to be at the bottom of the pit then sure you can have your resources .. but if you want to WIN .. then it doesn't work.
