As it is time for the Era 6 PvP Feast to begin, we have taken the opportunity to interview one of the top PvP Players, which came here last Era from the AGE server.
Being part of the very elite on AGE, he is now here to compete in this Era's PvP Feast, meet
[CoW] Sentior.
Q: Greetings [CoW] Sentior, can you tell us abit about yourself and about [CoW], which seem to be a new top CV this Era. What happened to [WAR]?
A: Hey. I'm Sentior. I started halfway during era 1, back on AGE (Aeria Games Entertainment, which also hosted this game). Because of the PvP system back then (fighting on islands, not yet the DG), I was able to get number one on the BR ladders, since most of my opponents were inexperienced. I'm a fast learner, so after my first 4 matches, which were all losses, I went on a 30+ winning spree.
Eventually, I managed to win the highest BR competition on AGE every single era, with many interesting opponents, of which only Shai Tan remains =(. During the first and the beginning of the second era, I was hopping around some of the major CV's (could get in easily, since I had over 100 BR for the majority of the era), but I ended up leaving one after the next. Eventually, I joined [CoW] The Creed of War. Within a week, we decided that we wanted to become the top convergence, and since I had the most experience, I was made chancellor. Due to our gnosis limits and highly active members, we actually managed to get most of the ladders won.
When AGE decided to close down Dreamlords, a lot of us came here. We weren't sure if everyone would come, or to remake [CoW] at all. Eventually, after some initial issues, we created [WAR], once again I was elected chancellor. It went pretty well with [WAR], although we had some inside issues, since fitting together so much old chancellors from AGE didn't go too easily. Lately, we lost a lot of members (which are replaced by now), and some of our members felt like a namechange. So, after a vote with many serious, half serious or funny tags and CV names, we elected [CoW] Core of War as our new CV name. Basically, it's still [WAR], just with a shiny new name. Think of it like repainting your house. =P
Q: What do you think about his PvP Feast. Are you going to win? Who are your toughest opponents?
A: I don't think I'm going to win. Last era, my main focus was winning the Dreamforging ladder, so I was unable to prepare (as in, get flesh sacs). But I've got a few tricks up my sleeve

. My toughest opponents are Baine Evans and Bismarck I think. Also, Shai Tan might give me a lot of trouble - we seem to lag a lot in our matches, so I am unable to beat him. I think I am better later in the era, but I will certainly try to score high.
Q: What are your tips and tricks to the newer people to the world of PvP?
A: I've taught several people in the past, including CryMeARiver, for example. But i'll try some basic stuff here. For a starting player, you would first have to know that your Temple of Conquest is very important; many games are won simply by one side being able to spawn units much faster. Furthermore assault is good against ranged, ranged good against melee, melee good against assault, all to a certain extent ( in large armies, ranged will be more important since they will be able to attack with the entire squad, while melee or assault units will not). When you fight an opponent, pay attention to what he or she is doing / using. That way, you can often counter them during the match, or predict what they will use for the next battle. The most important advice I could give any new player is very simple though. Do never give up. You will get better. And if all else fails, feel free to ask others / PM me.
Q: Is there anything else you wish to share with us?
A: In a previous interview of [LOE] YOMEGA, he said that he saw us as their main competition for the gnosis ladder. That was rather amusing, since we decided not to even try. We like to spend our SS elsewhere, by buying some DL items of [EWA] Maymann, for example =P. This era we won't be trying for the gnosis ladder either, we might try for the quests ladder though. We are also aiming for all 3 crafts, once again. Good luck to everyone trying to compete, sure, you have a chance, but you can't stop the herd.

We wish to thank Sentior for this interview and wishes him the best in the future
