Dear Players, Fans and Friends,

Yesterday the Lockpick saga ended, or at least the season ended with a huge cliff-hanger, and we filed for bankruptcy. We have worked hard to find some way to solve our financial problems but as the last option recently failed we have no other alternative. It’s been a fantastic journey for us, a lot of hard work and stress mixed with the joy of creation together with the best community in the world. We can’t thank you enough for all the support and fun times over the last couple of years.

Lockpick fades but Dreamlords is forever
Well we can’t say for sure that it’s for ever but our intentions are to keep the game live.
We have come to an arrangement where we hope we still can have the game open and we manage the game on a voluntary basis. This has a few consequences however. First and foremost the game will now be completely FREE. There will be no way of going premium or buy tribute. For those of you that are/have you will still keep your balance and days etc but no further purchases can be made. To make sure there is still tribute in the game and players are able to buy things we will greatly increase the number of tribute you can claim each day from holding PvP territories. That was the plus, the downsides are that; Game updates and fixes will be much less frequent, there will be no support and you are much less likely to see us online.

Time schedule:
• Payment system offline: Now
• Era 6 end: Friday (tomorrow) at 10.00 am GMT+1
• Era 7 patch and updates: Friday afternoon
• Era 7 goes live: Monday, if all goes as planned, we hope to move the servers to another location on Monday after which we will go live.
EDIT: The servers will not be online from Monday 3pm until some time mid tuesday when we place era 7 Live

yeah thank you kindly for a very cool game i will stick around die hard till the end and moderate best i can im very depressed by the fact lockpick is gone i have to say i downloaded this game like many other free games expecting to play a week and stayed from era 1 till present and iv tested and played alot of mmo games over the past 12 years and this is one of the very few i have really got hooked on.

but this game really held my attention more then some of the big multi million dollar titles out there this game iv actually cared about the outcome of the eras and the people within the game comunity and my cv.

made some good freinds and met people from all over the world playing it, i will be here till the lights go out thanks again for a great game highes and lows of it have been pritty mad

Thank you Lockpick for bringing this game to my life. I only wish I'd found you first instead of Aeria so I could have gotten to known you all better. Though I've only been here for 2 eras, Ive made this server my home now.

Thank you so much for keeping the game alive at least another era! I will do my best to keep the community a fun, competitive place, and friendly for all new comers... its the least I can do for you to show my thanks.
