OK, as i get many many questions, i figured i would make a post about the items we keep.
We keep trait points, tribute, DL gear (just not the stuff you get from the cv quests ie the worshiper gear) you also keep the orbs you get from quests, and you keep any other item that specifically says: "Persistent over eras"

There are orbs from quests? Maybe I should work on those...I was just gonna try to get tons of Tribute for this era, but if there are Orbs...

you can get tribute as well as the orbs. The orbs are from the mothers heart quests.

What about Gnosis? Also, how can I get new skills for my Dreamlord? I still only have Dissolve.
And what about Dreamlord equipment? How can I get higher levels of that? Thanks.

Gnosis, is NOT kept, as it makes you strive for something.

You can get new DL tomes (abilities) through traits. The middle trait of the first three columns in Welfare, Warfare, Medical, and War Strategy will give you an ability.

DL equipment lvl (usually shortened to DL lvl) comes from followers. In-game, you can ise the "inspect self" option, then hover your mouse over the blue bar. That will tell you how many followers you need until the next lvl. (This lvl IS era persistant.)

ok more questions..since you keep your DL lvl do you also keep your followers? What about all the skills etc i have trained?
I understand that all shards, gnonsis, vault etc go away, that i can deal with but starting over fresh on trains and followers? no thanks

Sorry Llew but unfortunately your followers have to go, think of it like this:

The end of the era has come, the new one begins and even though you have managed to scavange a few items and traits and bring them into the new world, your followers have disbanded and largely forgotten about your existence.

You do start with a complimentary 50 followers so they could be your loyal, or zealotic followers, and through them you must again rise to the challenge of clearing your patria and banding your followers together again.

In short, you must gain followers again.

Actualy, time gets shifted back to the point where you started before - people never don't know you yet, except the 50 which are already living in the main city which you just visited.
However your dreamlord gets shifted back, including all the things directly related to him (traits, dl lvl, dl gear ...) ... guess he just grabs the other era persistant items and takes them with him.
