As the subject says post here a little or long introduction as to who you are. We have a pretty tight community on Dreamlords so why not get to know one another a little bit better? I'll get us started off...

My real name is Ryan, I am 24 years old and am a Certified Mechanical Engineering Technologist specializing in the Oil & Gas Industry. I'm a gamer at heart though, I worked in the gaming industry while studying in post-secondary school and have been playing since I could hold a controller in my hands. My first console was the Intelivision (Came out just after the Atari for those who don't know the less popular first gen consoles) and had my NES imported. I have been gaming online for ~15 years now, starting with Worms 2 and Worms:Armageddon. I used to do some competitive gaming in several different FPS games and DotA as well but have since taken it easier and just enjoyed my games. I only got Dreamlords about 2 weeks or so ago but I've been enjoying it and the people in the game have been very helpful and nice. I love games and have played them a lot in my life...I am a real fan of RPG’s,RTS,MMO’s and many other Genre’s, I love Heavy Metal, Death Metal, Black Metal,Core metel, Pop/Punk,Metal, Nu Metal, Punk/Metal, Aggro-tech...I likemost music but those are my favourite genre’s. my favourite sports(which hapen to be the only ones I am really good at) are ,Skiing, Tennis,Swimming, Wing Chun(martial art), Karate & Skateboarding, I enjoy other sports as well but these take up a lot of my free-time when I am not studying or playing DL’s.


I speak English, A bit of Chinese & A tiny, tiny bit of German.

I am American, English & German & also hold all 3 passports.

Hi! Most of you know me, but for those who don't, I'm the resident crazy white girl, Cynos of Madness, evil goat-eating succubus, and so on. My real name is Nikki, and I'm a 17-year-old senior in high school that lives on the north-east coast of the USA. I am originally from the San Francisco area of CA and I plan on returning there soon for college.

I'm a pretty simple girl. I like good food, expensive shoes, and fun people. My passion is drawing. I live for art. I also love to read and write, go to the beach, go for hikes, ski, ride horseback, travel, and party. Gaming is actually a very small part of my life. Music is another love of mine, although I can't sing or play for beans. My favorite bands are Muse, A Perfect Circle, The Human Abstract, and RHCP, to name a few. It is extremely common to see me reciting lyrics in the main chat (although quite often people think I'm just talking nonsense instead of quoting songs...)

I'm also a huge fan of sitcoms like Scrubs, The Office, and That 70s Show. I've got most episodes of them downloaded and I watch them religiously. Many of the things I say in conversation are quotes from these shows.

20 years of age and from Denmark.
At the moment I'm not really doing anything besides looking for a job, as i has sick for quiet some time I dropped out of education (to start again august).
With that said I aim to become a programmer, know a little java and that's about it.

I live with my girlfriend and love to watch all kinda movies/series.
Besides dreamlords I play wow, and yes I do it because it's fun, it's all about playing with people you like.

I started playing dreamlords only a few weeks (I believe, if it wasn't on the day) it was released, only to take a break when reawakening when live, and started playing again middle of last era.

Music wise I can listen to anything. Mostly it's Voltair, repo or hammer fall tho.

I'm 17 and am still in Highschool. I hail from the south-east (Georgia, to be specific, way out in the middle of nowhere). I'm a bit of a privacy nut, so I can't tell you my name or give pics, sorry

I can't wait to be in college, where I won't be surrounded by numbskulls and forced to sit through mind-numbingly stupid classes, and plan on getting some sort of programming degree. My skills are relatively basic, but I know much about electronics (discrete circuits, mostly), robotics, and some rudimentary programming skills, and know a bit of C++. I get by using my ability to discover the obvious.
I plan on becoming...I dunno. As long as it pays well. I want to create my own game (who doesn't?) based off the internet (kinda like Tron). Either that or start a robotics company.
I also have several animals, such as chickens and dogs, and also mountain bike (state champion a few years in a row, not that there's a ton of competition out here), so I'm not a complete dork and I do spend a good bit of time outdoors. I also tend to design things I never build, such as awesome headphones (with a retractable cord and vox LED panels) and other small devices. However, I totally lack funds, so I'll probably never build them until I get a job.
I play all sorts of games, sucking up useless information like a sponge. The only games I can't stand are casual games, such as bejeweled. I really like FPS and RTS games (Starcraft and TF2, to be specific). I also go a-trolling from time to time, since it always guarantees some Lulz (especially from Myspace, which everyone at my school uses).
I don't have cable, or live TV, or whatever, so I get DVDs off Netflix. My favourite movie is Snatch, and my favourite TV series is X-Files (and Fringe is the new X-Files, so I like it too).
My music tastes vary, though there is a specific tempo I like. I tend to lean towards electronic, however, and my favourite artists are Trash80 (8-Bit) and RRenard (Electronic, youtube)
I signed up for DL and then didn't play for.... 6 or 7 eras, I guess. Then I obtained a PC that could handle it, and housed it in a cardboard box. So now I play since I like RTS games, especially one that that is also a MMORPG.

So hey, here's about me, since none of you will read this. I hope to stay part of this game for as long as possible, hopefully as I get into college as well.

To think this topic would actually come out of the blue, I guess there's no choice.
To make dreamlords a better community I want to get closer with everyone else but I wanted to keep myself unbiased to everyone else so now in truth I say this: my name is Jay,and yes I have to admit i'm from the land of Canada and I just turned 16 January. There I said it.
My passion is dreamlords and mmo-rts's and FF. I randomly show up on dreamlords sometimes or sometimes forget about it for a while on end but eventually I do come back.

My name is James, I'm from Chicago. I'm 19 and was attending Columbia College of Chicago for Theater/Writing but I dropped out for many reasons. Right now I'm looking for a job while moderating Dreamlords, and when my friends come back from College I tend to party a little too hard.
The only PC game I play atm is Dreamlords, I love MMORTS, I'll most definitely be playing SC2 when it comes out.
I like Epic Fantasy Adventure books (That's where I got the name Shai Tan) Sci-fi, and any good writing in general.
My dream is too someday get rich enough too buy all my favorite MMORTS games (especially a few that have been shut down) and give them the support they deserve! Including this one! . . .but i don't think i'm gettin rich anytime soon

Well, most people know me, but for those that dont: Im Tommy, or Tom Tom (as dio and a few older players call me). Im 18, (19 in september ) and in university studying Software Engineering. I don't actually have any photos of me on my computer (i hate pictures...) but i'll get one for all y'all soon enough Im from Canada's east coast (New Brunswick, to be specific) and i enjoy most any RTS game, and a select few TBS games (like Sword of the Stars). My favorite games are (in alphabetical order, as there is no overall preference) Dawn of War, Dreamlords, Sins of a Solar Empire, Starcraft, and Sword of the Stars. I play many others to though... There isnt any specific genre of music that is my favorite, as i like almost any music besides Country and some of the screamo stuff (although some of it is cool too...) My favorite types of books are fantasy, suspense and sci-fi books. I eventually plan on having my own computer company that will specialize in Games and advanced operating systems. Can't think of anything else to say right now, but feel free to ask me anything in main chat
