sorry to post this in german, but NC2 (who is meant by this call) is a german convergence.

it is very annoying of Rudolfo 83, that he keeps his pvp-lvl low for that he can celebrate noob-bashing extensively on the small pvp-islands.

we (RIP) appeal for NC2 calling Rudolfo83 over the coals for that unsportsmanlike behavior.

I agree with RIP, I have seen him at level 14 four days before the end of the era, everyone else I know who fights for medals at least raises their level with everyone else, MD, me (In past era', not going for medals this era), Obliv etc.

But keeping your level at 14 for 2 months? Disgusting!

What's more, I have never seen him in the dueling grounds, anyone ever seen him there?

>_> Rant over, feel free to edit this message moddies, but it speaks the truth and only the truth.

It might be "wrong" and "disgusting" in your mind, but it's still a perfectly valid way to play and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.

actually, in the past we have taken action against people who purposely kept their lvl down to get medals, as well as to simply noob-bash. That is one of the reasons you can no longer get BR on the islands.

So, as a warning in general: Don't noob-bash (i wonder, is that very statement insulting, and thus bashing...?)

You’re absolutly right, it is a valid way of playing. But just because you are able to do so doesn’t implie that you are allowed or supposed to do so.

Not so right that time. Althoug you are tecnically correct, since there is no way I could stop you, I have still one option left. I could do what RIP does best. I can insult you, I can make fun about you, spread lies and slender, ... In other words: “I can and will RIP you, Rudolfo and all other NoobBashers* as hard as I can.” (Anybody who gets this wrong just knows nothing about RIP)
And I hope other players will follow my example.

I myself doubt that the term “NoobBasher” is correct in any way. How about Isle Bullie or the politically correct term, Apprentice assayer *g

as anyone that knows me i usually attack anything and everyone touching an island, but ive done some thought in my old ways and realized that i myself may have cause some people to leave the game merely cause they couldnt gain 20 tribute. when it comes down to 500 tribute and no 1 can claim a land people get upset and frustrated, therefore if they cannot play the game as intended it is called griefing. ive learned quite a bit about the game while being banned almost a year. Greifing is not only word bashing or name calling but can be something as simple as not allowing a player to experience the game as intended or preventing them from playing the game. Hince the attack rule was put into place to prevent this but there are sadly still ways arround this and it happens all the time. Sincerely, (Reformed Noob-Basher) *CryMeARiver*

We are currently looking at ONE way to decrease some drawbacks on how people fight for land today.

Right now the land is of course very valuable as it is the only way to get tribute and you get a lot. As some oldies pointed out it will change when we open up the tribute sales again. To what number I have yet to decide.

The activity on the islands is not about fighting to keep your territories today (as we would like it) its more about keeping the ones who don't have out. We want the PvP for fun to be in the DGs and the PvP to gain land/keep land to be on the islands.

Today new players or inexperienced players desperate try to get some land but they can't as the experienced ones constantly remove captured land and just stalk the islands for someone brave enough to plant a flag. It's a destructive play style as the whole idea is to stop someone else from gaining something without having much (or many times nothing) to gain themselves.

The thing we look at right now is that there will be a limit on how often you can attack someone capturing a neutral territory. You either want that territory for yourself or you have no business beating them up.

tbh i think alot more people would be in the dg if the connections didnt fail and crash the game and the major -1 HP tl bug which i showd you and the dg was a bit more fair, i suggest that the old way the dg was setup, not by elo but by lvl ranges was alot better, u could pvp somone 5 lvls above or below you or if u sat there long enough get a random picking. it worked best that way in aeria

Island hogging is a pain

LO are pretty bad - Stige1 you know who I mean

In the last couple of days I have been trying to claim unoccupied lands on Eyeland - and have been continuosly attacked - I have the screenshots.

Those who know me - know I don't PVP - I am hopless at it

I have no problem with people defending what they own but just keeping people off an unoccupied Island is not in the spirit of the game.

Cheap victories give cheap medals but !!!

Well done Sige1 10 wins today - more medals
