I have gotten a lot of questions about "what happens to you now!??". Well, the simple answer is that I got a GREAT job in Gibraltar, to which I am moving shortly. I will still stick around check out the forum and bug the other Lockpickers whenever I feel like it
The main change here is that I will no longer be your Community Manager. I will make an official resignation post tomorrow, which you guys can read through my blog. Stay tuned! =) |

The PvP feast is over and the warriors have started to heal their wounds from all the fierce fights. We have gotten the chance to ask one of our testers how he felt about this eras PvP Feast, but also a little about how it is to be a tester for Dreamlords: The Reawakening. Q: Greetings [HyD] Brandt, can you tell us a bit about yourself? A: Hello. I am Brandt, I started playing Dreamlord In Era/Age 3 (but it was a few days before the reset). I joind "VAL" in Era/Age 4 and was made Chancellor. But that CV was not active, so i made a Deal with "FAM" to merge CV's. I was then made Chancellor there after 2 weeks, and we did okay for a "noob" CV. =P But at start of Era/Age 5 only 4 out of our 13 members rejoind. So i decided to make deal with some CV's to take "my" 4 playes. and when I found a new home, for all of them, I joined EWA/HyD. Q: What do you think about this PvP Feast? Did the right player win? A: Well we had a bad start on the PvP Feast this era/age, with all the crashes. And for the Winners of this Feast, hmm yaa I think it was the right people that won it. They are really good at pvping. Q: You have been an active tester on our test-server. How does it work, what can you tell the others about being a tester for Lockpick Entertainment? A: Yes, I helped the dev's test the new stuff for Era/Age 6. It works much like normal play, its just in a faster pace (reserach is faster). But to find bugs I stayed on the missions longer, to see if I got stuck in trees or buldings. Walking around on the ege of the maps and stuff like that (just like you have to in any Beta test). And if you find one then do it again to see, if its repeatable. It can be hard work to test, but you gain something too. You get a chance to try somthing you dont want to on "Live server" becuse of you setup. and you will obvious know, what the changes are for the next Era/Age. And you get a chance to talk alot to the Dev's =D. So if you want to help out testing, apply for the next round of testing, we can use some more players to test, so that we wont get as many bugs, as we did for this one.
Q: Is there anything else you wish to share with us? A: Not really. Only thing is I think you guys (devs) did a really good job on the new stuff. It looks really good. Keep up the good work. See you all in game, Brandt ------- We wish to thank Brandt for this interview and wishes him the best in the future |

As it is time for the Era 6 PvP Feast to begin, we have taken the opportunity to interview one of the top PvP Players, which came here last Era from the AGE server. Being part of the very elite on AGE, he is now here to compete in this Era's PvP Feast, meet [CoW] Sentior. Q: Greetings [CoW] Sentior, can you tell us abit about yourself and about [CoW], which seem to be a new top CV this Era. What happened to [WAR]? A: Hey. I'm Sentior. I started halfway during era 1, back on AGE (Aeria Games Entertainment, which also hosted this game). Because of the PvP system back then (fighting on islands, not yet the DG), I was able to get number one on the BR ladders, since most of my opponents were inexperienced. I'm a fast learner, so after my first 4 matches, which were all losses, I went on a 30+ winning spree. Eventually, I managed to win the highest BR competition on AGE every single era, with many interesting opponents, of which only Shai Tan remains =(. During the first and the beginning of the second era, I was hopping around some of the major CV's (could get in easily, since I had over 100 BR for the majority of the era), but I ended up leaving one after the next. Eventually, I joined [CoW] The Creed of War. Within a week, we decided that we wanted to become the top convergence, and since I had the most experience, I was made chancellor. Due to our gnosis limits and highly active members, we actually managed to get most of the ladders won. When AGE decided to close down Dreamlords, a lot of us came here. We weren't sure if everyone would come, or to remake [CoW] at all. Eventually, after some initial issues, we created [WAR], once again I was elected chancellor. It went pretty well with [WAR], although we had some inside issues, since fitting together so much old chancellors from AGE didn't go too easily. Lately, we lost a lot of members (which are replaced by now), and some of our members felt like a namechange. So, after a vote with many serious, half serious or funny tags and CV names, we elected [CoW] Core of War as our new CV name. Basically, it's still [WAR], just with a shiny new name. Think of it like repainting your house. =P Q: What do you think about his PvP Feast. Are you going to win? Who are your toughest opponents? A: I don't think I'm going to win. Last era, my main focus was winning the Dreamforging ladder, so I was unable to prepare (as in, get flesh sacs). But I've got a few tricks up my sleeve . My toughest opponents are Baine Evans and Bismarck I think. Also, Shai Tan might give me a lot of trouble - we seem to lag a lot in our matches, so I am unable to beat him. I think I am better later in the era, but I will certainly try to score high.
Q: What are your tips and tricks to the newer people to the world of PvP? A: I've taught several people in the past, including CryMeARiver, for example. But i'll try some basic stuff here. For a starting player, you would first have to know that your Temple of Conquest is very important; many games are won simply by one side being able to spawn units much faster. Furthermore assault is good against ranged, ranged good against melee, melee good against assault, all to a certain extent ( in large armies, ranged will be more important since they will be able to attack with the entire squad, while melee or assault units will not). When you fight an opponent, pay attention to what he or she is doing / using. That way, you can often counter them during the match, or predict what they will use for the next battle. The most important advice I could give any new player is very simple though. Do never give up. You will get better. And if all else fails, feel free to ask others / PM me. Q: Is there anything else you wish to share with us? A: In a previous interview of [LOE] YOMEGA, he said that he saw us as their main competition for the gnosis ladder. That was rather amusing, since we decided not to even try. We like to spend our SS elsewhere, by buying some DL items of [EWA] Maymann, for example =P. This era we won't be trying for the gnosis ladder either, we might try for the quests ladder though. We are also aiming for all 3 crafts, once again. Good luck to everyone trying to compete, sure, you have a chance, but you can't stop the herd.
------- We wish to thank Sentior for this interview and wishes him the best in the future |

After the fierce race betwean the top CVs, Low Tide [LOE] managed to snap the first position in the very last hours of the era. Elite Warriors [EWA] held the first position for a couple of days, but wasn't able to keep it when [LOW] started their victory march. We have taken the opportunity to talk to the leaders of these to convergences: [LOE] YOMEGA and [EWA] Maymann.
Q: Greetings [LOE] YOMEGA, what can you tell us about your CV's endgame race for the gnosis top CV? What actually happened there in the very end? A: Well, this was a weird one because usually we have 3 obvious race contenders. So we know who to keep pace with all era and to keep a eye on as it where, but as 1 of those CV's pretty much collapsed this era and another seamed to go dormant, most of the era and the last one didn't seem to want be in the race this era. We looked to WAR as our main competitor. So we had some pretty cool fights with them all era. Then suddenly they had some internal problems and a group of their members joined EWA, who we don't usually keep track of. So the last 2 weeks or so we diverted our attention to beating EWA, lol. This is why I said this era was complicated and stressful as we had no clear enemy and it left us with a lot of guse work. In a way we over estimated this era's competition and underestimate our own position. I don't mean that in an arrogant way but this era we won on 9 different ladder rankings of first place. I put this down to a lot of hard work by us, but also a case of a lot of the old Lockpick CV's opting out this era and a lot of new CV's from age only just finding their feet and not being equipped to race for the top spots yet. Also this CV everyone is pretty dedicated and one minded which ever role they take, they give it their all even if there brain is melting from too much PvE /PvP or crafting lol. In the end it seems the real threat was from GNG on the gnosis ladder at least and war certainly took the crafting with DIE taking 1 ladder. On a final not I'm really happy a Lockpick CV took first this era. We couldn't let the age lads take us there first era in and as most of the old guard CVs from Lockpick where on a break this era. We needed to fly the flag for the era 1 CVs from this server, so all I can say really is *Cheers to the old guard*. Q: What's your thoughts on the new ladder system, where CV quests also has a role in the score? Is this something that can make it harder, or maybe even easier for you CV to win this Era? A: I like the idea of more than 1 ladder counting to a CV winning the era, I mean if this had been the case era 3 would have been ours lol, but it wasn't so this new addition seams cool though. I think it should be about overall 1st spots on all ladders not so much determined by 2 ladders. But this is certainly an improvement, if the drop rate for some of the more harder to get ingredients are more easily obtainable this era. As last era we were halted on several quests simply because no one, no matter how much they PvE'd, could get certain scrolls ... and the ones on market where way over priced lol. Do I think this will make this easier for us to win the era? No era is easy to win. It's a lot of hard work from all concerned in CV and a lot of team work and it's very hard to predict an outcome. I'm sure we will rank well and I hope we can make it a hat trick on the era wins. I think it's nice to see DIE make a comeback this era and I know that they and some other CV's will certainly be ones to watch for us. Anyways, thanks for another interview and allowing me to bore the game population some more. Also want to say thank u to my CV m8s for giving there best in era 5 cheers lads!
Q: Greetings [EWA] Maymann, what's your version of this. What can you tell us about the endgame action from [EWA]'s point of view? A: Well we never really thought we would be high in the gnosis ladder in endgame. EWA has not been that active during most of era, but has recently gotten new highly active players in, so I expect us to be better in era 6. Of course we distributed SS at end of era to get most use of them with low gnosis players. Q: What about you Maymann? What's your thoughts on the new ladder system? Is this something that can make it harder, or maybe even easier for you CV to win this Era? A: I like the new Winner-ladder that includes quests, so it’s not just a run for gnosis. I think we do quite well in quests, and it won't make our chances worse in winning future eras. I'm not sure though, that we are actually matter than other top clans in quest area. In era 5 we completed all but 8 or 9 quests as I remember. ------- We wish to thank YOMEGA and Maymann for this interviews and wishes him the best in the future |

Just before the big endgame PvP fight, we manage to catch one of the most fierce PvP players on our server, [LOE] YOMEGA. Q: Greetings [LOE] YOMEGA, can you introduce yourself and give us a little glance at who [LOE] YOMEGA is? A: Well I started playing dreamlords early in era 1. I created LOE for fun and to pvp, I've played a fair few games in my time but I have to say I am pretty hooked on Dreamlords
I'm pretty much all PvP, I'm not a big fan of PvE. Most of my CV m8s tend to refere to me as the PvE noob which I've come to terms with
My favorite moment so far in Dreamlords has been seeing LOE win their era in era 4, as I really felt we deserved it after all the hard work that was done by my CV m8s to get us there - like Asharai with his insane top gnosis score which have had to be a Dreamlords record lol, my worse moment has to be when loosing in era 3 after dominating the entire ladder in all feilds as a CV and being first in gnosis and crafting 'til the last minute when FR blew us away, lol. Q: The Era is coming to an end, what's your thoughts about the endgame PvP competition as well as the various ladder category battles? Will [LOE] take home many medals and high ladder positions? A: Well for me this era has been very interesting with the adding of the age server people and PvP has once again alot more top notch PvPers out there, fighting for the top postions. There's alot of new faces out there I've enjoyed PvPing with and some old ones to. I think this late in era PvP is less my goal, I've secured what I personaly wanted which was at least top 3 in badges and defends. I usually shoot for top defends or badges but this era I didn't really want to hold back on my reaserch. Besides, WAR left me no room to sit in the low lvls this era, which was nice as it ment that this era was pvp all era straight up to surge stone which isn't always the case lol. I think where it will be alot of changes on ladder ranking for us, before era is over, is on the pvp stats and crafting as well. As always the holy grail of ladder rankings top cv gnosis . So stay tuned on that one. I think it will be a interesting fight in the last week of era.
Q: Who's your favorite PvP opponent and why? A: hmm this one is a hard one becose iv always enjoyed fighting bismarck but hes not very active this late in era and most of my fights have been with WAR this era. I had a fun PvP reaserch arms race with Shai Tan was alot of fun finding ways round his vicars. CryMeARiver also was fun he adopted my own game style as his own so basicly used my own tactics on me lol which for a breif time got very annoying. I kept having to come up with new/old tactics I hadn't used on him yet lol. Thought it was good, I think it helped me step up my own game.
The most prolific PvPer I've seen in this game has to be, much as I hate to admit it, masterdiablo though this era I haven't seen him being so active. He has always been very much a top ranking PvPer of the Lockpick server PvPers he always shoots for top defends attacks and medals, wich I gave him a run for his money on in era 4 and top BR, though for me top BR doesn't really interest me. I usually secure the CV ladder stats with the help of my CV m8s. I think personal glory is pointless at end of era. When you are part of a CV you are part of a team, if only one of us takes all the credit and doesn't work to help the CV win as a team then why be in a cv at all? Anything that LOE has achieved is because of its members and I'm just lucky I'm in a CV with such a good band of fellows.
Q: Is there anything else you wish to share with us? A: I think I have taken up possibly too much of everyones time already but I just want to say goodluck to all the others CVs for end of era on what ever it is you want to achieve and I will see you all on the feild.
------- We wish to thank YOMEGA for this interview and wishes him the best in the future |
