Second Beta Era, and rewards!
The second Beta Era recently launched and the Swampking sure is excited!
Since he thinks you have no chance against him and his bathing Swampgrunts, he is going to give every player a sum of Tribute to play around with during the Beta!
We will drop 10.000 Tribute in your stash this week!
The Tribute given by the Swamp King is for use during beta only, and all items bought during Beta will not be kept when the game Re-launches.

This Era we DEVs will focus a lot on the balance of special abilities and traits. It will likely be placed live after the 2nd Beta Era

New Patch 13th of May
A new patch will be released this afternoon (May 13). The current plan is to stop the game server at around 14:00 CEST. Estimated downtime is 30-60 minutes.

Game server restart tomorrow and new patch
The game server will be restarted around 11:00 CEST tomorrow (Friday, May 7) to apply fixes for the chat server restart bug (which means it should restart normally at the Monday morning restart) and for the Duelling Grounds match window being used for territory PvP matches.
A new patch is planned for next week, most likely Wednesday or Thursday.

End of Era and important news!
And the Dreamer´s sleep was uneasy. The torn world of Elysion crumbled even more and changed, as the inhabitants tried to understand what was going on. But the people of Elysion have always been a hardy people, never to back away from pressure...
As the current era ends on April 27th at 10.00 am (GMT+1) we will take the servers down for a few hours before unfolding the next phase of the Dreamlords saga. Join us in the Eras of change, were we adjust and shape the game into something strange and new, yet familiar. Enter the Eras of Change, where your words have the power to change the very world.
There will be extensive testing, and changing of how things work in the next couple of Eras, to accommodate for the Relaunch of the game. Eras will be shorter with increased research speed and increased gains. There might be civilians accidentally dissolving in the streets, items and abilities warping into something else so buckle up, as it might get a little turbulent at times. But with this also comes the chance to experience the changes as they happen, and cry out in anger or approval!
During these last eras, many interesting ideas and suggestions have been created by you, the players. We have always been very proud of our players commitment to make the game better. Make your voice heard in the chat, and forums!
Players that are active and help us test and forge the changes in these eras will be rewarded with Tribute, Premiumtime and/or DL Gear that will carry over to after the Relaunch of Dreamlords.This will be the only chance to acquire this before the game is Relaunched so do not miss out!
During the Eras of change, Coop PvE will also be available! Be among the first to try this new way to play Dreamlords and take on the Nightmares on your Patria toghether with a friend!
As the Eras of Change progress, more and more maps will come to be available for Coop PvE! !

Week of the Lifegiver & Trivia Event!
"Even the hardest shell can be cracked, to reveal an innocent life within" -from the Verse of Deira, Cynos of Life
In order to promote the coming of spring, and the rebirth of nature, people around Elysion are celebrating Week of the Lifegiver. They share festively painted eggs containing surprises and treats, and sing and dance the winter away.
Week of the Lifegiver will be an ingame that starts 2nd of April , where you will have a chance to find eggs all over your patria during PvE missions! Smash them and gather Egg Shards in order to build festive headgear for your troops, or maybe even conjure up a little Gruntbaby Egg that follows you around!
The moderators of Elysion are hosting a Trivia Event, on the 5th of April!

PvP event & Week of the Lifegiver!
The PvP Feast is upon us once again! This time around it will be for a full two week period starting Monday 29th of March at 11.00 am (GMT+1).
The event will consist of two weeks of PvP and will have some special features to improve the PvP. Not only will the player have much more medical points to resurrect their fallen brethren after a PVP fight, there will be no durability loss of weapons used in PVP.
At the end of the event, we will grant great prizes to the 1st through 10th place holders of the Battle Rating ladder.
The prizes this PvP Feast will be Tribute.
* 1st place winner will receive 15000 T
* 2nd place holder will receive 7500 T
* 3rd place holder will receive 5000 T
* 4th - 10th holders will receive 2500 T each

Celestial Surge incoming, 19th of March
Maybe it is just a streak of lucky coincidences or a sudden increase in attention of the Dreamer himself... or maybe it is both.
All around Elysion, there is a surge in energy. Fumes of gnosis seem to be seeping out from cracks in the ground, and treasure seems to gather like moths to the lanterns hanging outside Warlax’s Pub.
This event will last from Friday March 19th, 10:00 (GMT+1) until Monday March 22nd, 10:00 (GMT+1).
During this time all Dreamlords will get double gains while engaging in Patria PvE missions.

The Medical Output for PvP seems to have been doubled ever since the last PvP-Feast.

I guess no one is sorry for this as it allows more troops to be resurrected in PvP, and we will keep it double all weekend until monday, to celebrate the moderators event.

Hear ye! Hear ye! Doom is approaching!
Those that can listen to the wakes and vibrations of the Primordial Ocean have sensed it... but it does not take much wisdom to understand that the events that have unfolded so far, with increased presence of monsters and death, are pointing towards a dark future.
The skies are being tainted with the fires of war, and the ground will soon be decorated with a crimson carpet of corpses. And among them, scattered lone survivors, crying in despair, trembling into the core of their brittle bones at the sight of a landscape of slaughtered loved ones, of grotesque abominations slowly feasting on the dead...
The end of the Era is approaching!
During the last days of the Era, you will be able to take on eight quests on your Patria of varying difficulty, from a level of 35 up to 59. Upon completing one of these quests, you have the chance to obtain one of the items from the Corruptor (Dreamlord gear, level 4) set, or a wealth in dissolvable items.
Those of you who manage to finish the final and most difficult of these quests will be awarded the Corruptor's Key of Souls, a weapon which is unique for that particular quest. The gear can be traded unless they are soulbound, and cannot be found anywhere else.
Era 11 starts shortly after this!

Also, the Dreamlords Mission editor is finished enough to go into testing! Some of our brave moderators have already begun making missions and finding bugs. We wish them the best of luck, and hopefully we will be able to try some of their missions in a not to distant future!
The thread "The future of Dreamlords!" gathered much attention, and still is! Tons of great feedback and ideas are pouring into this thread, and we are really happy to see so many comments from both old and new players!

The future of Dreamlords the Reawakening!
Lockpick Entertainment is no more. This is probably easy to miss, as the servers for the game are up and running and everything (just about) is working.
We are few in number but strong in our gnosis. While we can’t give the support we want at the moment, we still do our best to answer your questions, handle non-moderator events and squish bugs in the client.

Community Manager and graphical artist. I have worked with Dreamlords since 2007, leading the graphical artists at Lockpick Entertainment and producing art for Dreamlords. I have also been involved in the major design decisions in the game (although stats and numbers not are my strength). After Lockpick was dissolved I took on the role as Community Manager, as well as graphical artist.

My desire to do cool stuff led me to accept the offer to make games with Lockpick sometime in 2004 and I became the owner of a tiny piece of the company in 2005. I’ve been a programmer on Dreamlords since the beginning , and I’ve also done some other more or less technical stuff like server administration and some tech support. I’ll continue to do technical stuff and I’ve mostly (by choice) kept away from most other sides of the game even if the underlying systems interest me a bit from time to time.
David Rosén
As the founder and former CEO and Executive Producer of Lockpick Entertainment David has been around from the start and been aboard on the rollercoaster rides the company and Dreamlords has been on since 2004. Today David is much like the Dreamer, all-knowing, omnipotent but absent he remains in the background and supports the Daniels in their new venture on getting Dreamlords back on track. Perhaps the efforts of the Daniels will cause enough turmoil to awaken the sleeping David and he will return to restore Lockpick to its former glory.
We want you to know who is maintaining the game and what we are going to do with it next. Yes, we are still developing Dreamlords and are plotting our true return to Elysion by re-launching the game!

The rebalance will be very related to if we do a complete reset of the game or not. We are currently debating it internally and weighing pros vs cons. The pros are obvious with a totally leveled battlefield, and no baggage when it comes to rebalancing. The cons being as obvious with some players feeling robbed of their traits. In short it's benefit the game vs benefit the old fans to be honest and brutal. We will create a poll to gather your feedback on the matter and we will take that into consideration. Flesh Sacs & End of Era
A Disturbing Kind of Treasure Hunt
Sheit, the Cynos of Nightmares, has sent out his servants with deliveries of resources and weapons to monsters and beasts that are willing to make the life of the Dreamlords and their people difficult.
These servants, simply called Flesh Sacs, are roaming the Patrias. They are living cargo containers, with the only goal in life to carry and defend their contents until they reach their destination, upon which they burst open and die.
If you are lucky enough to see one, and foolish enough to take it on, you might end up with its valuable contents yourself... or your face full of its corrosive innards.
The Flesh Sac monsters that can be found on your Patria can sometimes drop rare formulas that allow you to craft items of nightmarish powers by using the very remains of the slain beasts. For those who do not want to hope for the formulas to drop there is also the option to purchase them in the Altar of Cynos! However, you will still need to gather the ingredients to the formulas the old fashioned way.
The Flesh Sac'sRancid Remains, as well as any formulas related to this event, will persist through Era restarts. The powerful items they create, however, will not.
Also, Era 9 will end on december 26th! A week before that, the whole world will be engulfed in the flames of doom! More on this as the end of the world closes in upon us!

The world have ended...
When no hope was left, and all that remained was to slowly witness how an entire world crumbled and vanished to the onslaught of the Nedom Wolven, Cael focused all his powers and all his might to turn back time as far as he could - back to a point where someone could make a change, take a different path, and try to put an end to the Nightmares and hinder the coming of Nedom.And while doing so, Cael, Cynos of Time, granted the Dreamlords a special gift... a chance to keep going forward and grow stronger than ever before.

The End of the world...
As the sky grows darker, The Worlds Dusk is soon upon us, and it's time to fight for great treasure, but also for survival.
During the Worlds Dusk, players will encounter special Nightmare Seeder PvE missions, where precious loot is dropped upon finishing these missions. When the Worlds Dusk is over, so is the Era. The era ends 30th of October!

PvP Feast starts september 28th!
The PvP Feast is upon os once again! This time around it will be for a full two week period starting Monday Sep 28th at 10.00 am (GMT+1).
The event will consist of two weeks of PvP and will have some special features to improve the PvP. Not only will the player have much more medical points to resurrect their fallen brethren after a PVP fight, there will be no durability loss of weapons used in PVP.
At the end of the event, we will grant great prizes to the 1st through 10th place holders of the Battle Rating ladder.
The prizes this PvP Feast will be Tribute.
* 1st place winner will receive 15000 T
* 2nd place holder will receive 7500 T
* 3rd place holder will receive 5000 T
* 4th - 10th holders will receive 2500 T each

The End of the World
Those that can listen to the wakes and vibrations of the Primordial Ocean have sensed it... but it does not take much wisdom to understand that the events that have unfolded so far, with increased presence of monsters and death, are pointing towards a dark future.
The skies are being tainted with the fires of war, and the ground will soon be decorated with a crimson carpet of corpses. And among them, scattered lone survivors, crying in despair, trembling into the core of their brittle bones at the sight of a landscape of slaughtered loved ones, of grotesque abominations slowly feasting on the dead...
During the last days of the Era, you will be able to take on eight quests on your Patria of varying difficulty, from a level of 35 up to 59. Upon completing one of these quests, you have the chance to obtain one of the items from the Corruptor (Dreamlord gear, level 4) set, or a wealth in dissolvable items.
Those of you who manage to finish the final and most difficult of these quests will be awarded the Corruptor's Key of Souls, a weapon which is unique for that particular quest. The gear can be traded unless they are soulbound, and cannot be found anywhere else.

Era 7 has begun!
We hope you enjoy this era even more than the previous ones. Tribute for territories will now be 100-500 per day. This may change without advance notice at any time.
Unfortunately Lockpick Entertainment is no more, but we will do everything in our power to keep the servers up for a very long time. We would like to thank you all for the good times we had together over the last couple of years and hope you stick with the game that is now completely free.

The End of an Era, the Dawn of something New!
After trying our very best to try to survive, the bankruptcy was in the end inevitable. Although, Era 7 will still go live and we hope that we can keep Dreamlords: The Reawakening online and running in the future.
