The event will consist of two weeks of PvP and will have some special features to improve the PvP. Not only will the player have much more medical points to resurrect their fallen brethren after a PVP fight, there will be no durability loss of weapons used in PVP.

At the end of the event, we will grant great prizes to the 1st through 10th place holders of the Battle Rating ladder.

The prizes this PvP Feast will be Tribute.

Maybe it is just a streak of lucky coincidences or a sudden increase in attention of the Dreamer himself... or maybe it is both.

Worlds Dusk and the Era ends on saturday 26th of December

  

The Fleshsacs have all fled, or been destroyed... But something more sinister is upon the patrias. Those that can listen to the wakes and vibrations of the Primordial Ocean have sensed it... but it does not take much wisdom to understand that the events that have unfolded so far, with increased presence of monsters and death, are pointing towards a dark future.

The skies are being tainted with the fires of war, and the ground will soon be decorated with a crimson carpet of corpses. And among them, scattered lone survivors, crying in despair, trembling into the core of their brittle bones at the sight of a landscape of slaughtered loved ones, of grotesque abominations slowly feasting on the dead...

 

The Flesh sacs has left Elysion for this time.

 

During the last days of the Era, you will be able to take on eight quests on your Patria of varying difficulty, from a level of 35 up to 59. Upon completing one of these quests, you have the chance to obtain one of the items from the Corruptor (Dreamlord gear, level 4) set, or a wealth in dissolvable items.

 

Those of you who manage to finish the final and most difficult of these quests will be awarded the Corruptor's Key of Souls, a weapon which is unique for that particular quest. The gear can be traded unless they are soulbound, and cannot be found anywhere else.

Lockpick Entertainment is no more. This is probably easy to miss, as the servers for the game are up and running and everything (just about) is working.

We are few in number but strong in our gnosis. While we can’t give the support we want at the moment, we still do our best to answer your questions, handle non-moderator events and squish bugs in the client.

Daniel Ribera Olsen
Community Manager and graphical artist. I have worked with Dreamlords since 2007, leading the graphical artists at Lockpick Entertainment and producing art for Dreamlords. I have also been involved in the major design decisions in the game (although stats and numbers not are my strength). After Lockpick was dissolved I took on the role as Community Manager, as well as graphical artist.

My desire to do cool stuff led me to accept the offer to make games with Lockpick sometime in 2004 and I became the owner of a tiny piece of the company in 2005. I’ve been a programmer on Dreamlords since the beginning , and I’ve also done some other more or less technical stuff like server administration and some tech support. I’ll continue to do technical stuff and I’ve mostly (by choice) kept away from most other sides of the game even if the underlying systems interest me a bit from time to time.

David Rosén
As the founder and former CEO and Executive Producer of Lockpick Entertainment David has been around from the start and been aboard on the rollercoaster rides the company and Dreamlords has been on since 2004. Today David is much like the Dreamer, all-knowing, omnipotent but absent he remains in the background and supports the Daniels in their new venture on getting Dreamlords back on track. Perhaps the efforts of the Daniels will cause enough turmoil to awaken the sleeping David and he will return to restore Lockpick to its former glory.

     A Disturbing Kind of Treasure Hunt

    

Sheit, the Cynos of Nightmares, has sent out his servants with deliveries of resources and weapons to monsters and beasts that are willing to make the life of the Dreamlords and their people difficult.

These servants, simply called Flesh Sacs, are roaming the Patrias. They are living cargo containers, with the only goal in life to carry and defend their contents until they reach their destination, upon which they burst open and die.

If you are lucky enough to see one, and foolish enough to take it on, you might end up with its valuable contents yourself... or your face full of its corrosive innards.

The Flesh Sac monsters that can be found on your Patria can sometimes drop rare formulas that allow you to craft items of nightmarish powers by using the very remains of the slain beasts. For those who do not want to hope for the formulas to drop there is also the option to purchase them in the Altar of Cynos! However, you will still need to gather the ingredients to the formulas the old fashioned way.

The Flesh Sac'sRancid Remains, as well as any formulas related to this event, will persist through Era restarts. The powerful items they create, however, will not.

Double gains in PvE missions until Monday 22th!

As the Flesh Sacs once again have crawled back from where they came from, some fumes are starting to pore up from the ground. This is the Celestial Surge, giving twice as much treasure for each PvE mission. Enjoy!

 

 

The Worlds Dusk begins on Monday 22th!

The fumes from the celestial surge has not only drawn Dreamlords and various adventurers for treasure hunts. It has also awoken the great Nightmare Seeders and have thereby started the apocalypse. The Worlds Dusk is here, and it's time to fight for great treasure, but also for survival.

 

During the Worlds Dusk, players will encounter special Nightmare Seeder PvE missions, where precious loot is dropped upon finishing these missions. When the Worlds Dusk is over, so is the Era.

 

 

Downtime after End of Era

There will be a downtime for some time after the End of the Era, June 26th. This downtime could be from 2-3 days, but our goal is to get the server back up on monday.

After a long time of their absence, the Flesh Sacs once again enters the world of Elysion. Let your fighting skills awaken and sharpen your weapons, for this is a hunt of great value and treasure. 

The Flesh Sac Event give the players the opportunity to hunt creatures carrying rare ingredients. With these, unique items can be crafted which gives you great advantage in battle. 

Even more, the ingredients is persistant over eras, so what you collect in this event, you can keep to use next era if you want to. Please note that it is only the ingredients you may keep, not the items crafted from them. 

This is not all, the Altar of Cynos yields special items to be purchased during this event, don't miss out on them!

The PvP Feast is now over, but a new threat has emerged from the sky. Asynja is here, and she's looking for blood. For the upcoming days, starting today, Asynjas forces will begin to fall from the sky down on your patrias.

Q: Greetings [HyD] Brandt, can you tell us a bit about yourself?

A: Hello. I am Brandt, I started playing Dreamlord In Era/Age 3 (but it was a few days before the reset). I joind "VAL" in Era/Age 4 and was made Chancellor. But that CV was not active, so i made a Deal with "FAM" to merge CV's. I was then made Chancellor there after 2 weeks, and we did okay for a "noob" CV. =P But at start of Era/Age 5 only 4 out of our 13 members rejoind. So i decided to make deal with some CV's to take "my" 4 playes. and when I found a new home, for all of them, I joined EWA/HyD.

As we started the PvP Feast a few days later than it first was said, we felt that it would only be fair if we extended the PvP Feast as well.

Also, the Lucid Dreams event, giving temporary tomes, is extended to friday as well. After that, you will keep the temporary tomes for a little while longer.

 

 

Upcoming patch Thursday, 14th of may, 10:00 gmt +1!

We will patch the server around 10:00 gmt +1 tomorrow at 10:00 gmt +1. This will hopefully fix the problems with the PvP Islands among other things.

 

The downtime is estimated to take around 5-15 minutes or so. Stay patient, the patch is coming!

A strange visitor has come to your patria...

A shadowy creature is standing really close to your home city. Maybe you should go there and see what it is that he, or she, wants... The creature might not hang around forever though, so do not waste too much time.

This is an event that anyone can take part of, regardless of army strength.

 

 

This is a good opportunity for you that doesn't have so many abilities on your Dreamlord, as this event gives you one of four possible tomes to use during this event.

 

Now go and beat those stubborn PvP masters in Dueling Grounds with your new powerful ability!

The PvP Feast is finally here. We have fixed a lot of the PvP bugs, even though some may still exist, and for that we apologize. We hope that the PvP Feast will be as fun as, or even more fun than last Era.

 

This Era we have some new elements to the PvP. Not only does the BR-system work much better, new maps are in place and even giant Living Armors of Ghunan sometimes enter the world of PvP.

The PvP Feast Lottery - Win Tribute! 

Every player in Battle Rating top 100 will have an equal chance of getting one of the 20 Tribute bonus packages, having the value of the winners Battle Rating multiplied with 10. For example, a player with 43 in Battle Rating will receive 430 Tribute if he or she wins.

 

This PvP Feast, the chance of win will be DOUBLE from the last time, where only 10 players won in the lottery. Now 20 people can win, and if they have high enough Battle Rating, the amount of tribute can get quite high.

 

The higher Battle Rating you have, the more you will win, if you win.

As it is time for the Era 6 PvP Feast to begin, we have taken the opportunity to interview one of the top PvP Players, which came here last Era from the AGE server.

 

Being part of the very elite on AGE, he is now here to compete in this Era's PvP Feast, meet [CoW] Sentior.

 

 

Q: What do you think about his PvP Feast. Are you going to win? Who are your toughest opponents?

 

A: I don't think I'm going to win. Last era, my main focus was winning the Dreamforging ladder, so I was unable to prepare (as in, get flesh sacs). But I've got a few tricks up my sleeve :D. My toughest opponents are Baine Evans and Bismarck I think. Also, Shai Tan might give me a lot of trouble - we seem to lag a lot in our matches, so I am unable to beat him. I think I am better later in the era, but I will certainly try to score high.

As a lot of bugs recently showed up from nowhere, we have decided to postpone the PvP Feast until these are fixed. We want you to enjoy the feast to its maximum, so we have decided that this delay is most necessary. 

We apologize for this and work as hard as we possibly can to be able to give you one of the most popular events of the era, the PvP Feast. 

Increased Medical Points and No Durability Loss features are online though, so that you can start practicing until the PvP Feast goes online officially.

Earn Tribute and Premium Time!

We have finally finished making the Invite a Friend program, giving you the opportunity to earn Tribute and Premium Time simply by inviting new players to the game.

 

To invite a friend to the game, simply click the "Invite a Friend" button that now is visible at the left menu of this page.

When your friend is considered an active player (meeting certain progression requirements), both you AND your friend will receive the following rewards:

 

• 1000 Tribute *
• 14 days of Premium Membership *

You can invite up to five friends at a time, but once your friend has been playing actively enough to receive the reward (which you also will get of course), the slot will open up for you to invite yet another friend!

To earn as much as you can of this great opportunity, invite as many friends as you can and help them so that they can achieve the reward as fast as possible. Who knows how much Tribute and Premium Time you manage to get during one single Era.

Not only do you get  the 1000 Tribute and 14 days of Premium time when your friend meets certain requirements, you recieve even more Tribute and Premium time if your friend buys premium time or tribute. Note that you will only recieve a reward the first time your friend buys Premium Time or Tribute.

Abusing this feature by creating fake accounts or similar, will result in loss of reward and possibly account deletions.

The cynos has started to recognize their most devoted dreamlords into their inner circle. To be recognized, the dreamlord must prove him- or herself to be worthy the honor as well as the rewards that follow. 

The rewards will consist of 14 days of free premium time as well as 1000 tribute. This will only happen once per era.

 

 

 

2009-04-20: Patch Notes

We have now patched the game to fix some of the bugs that came with the new Era. Here are the patch notes:

Just before the big endgame PvP fight, we manage to catch one of the most fierce PvP players on our server, [LOE] YOMEGA.

 

Q: Greetings [LOE] YOMEGA, can you introduce yourself and give us a little glance at who [LOE] YOMEGA is? 

A: Well I started playing dreamlords early in era 1. I created LOE for fun and to pvp, I've played a fair few games in my time but I have to say I am pretty hooked on Dreamlords ;) 

I'm pretty much all PvP, I'm not a big fan of PvE. Most of my CV m8s tend to refere to me as the PvE noob which I've come to terms with :D 

 

After weeks of PvP Warfare, it's finnaly time to meet one of our most debated and feared players, [GNG] Mythriel.

 

Q: How did you think the PVP Feast went? Did your resetting your account have any impact on the end results? Would you have beaten Bismarck if you still had your original patria? And what was that resetting thing about really? 

 

A: The PvP feast went very well for me, finishing 3rd after only 1 week of PvP was ok and was ok for other players as well since they got the chance to do more DG. Well of course the reset had a big impact, but it was ok. After reset I went full PvE spec and had a lot of fun in PvE. I actually managed to make 4k gnosis in 2 weeks of play. Well I won t comment about why I reset but I just want to add that the games against Bismarck were EPIC and I feel sorry that masterdiablo wasn't there to PvP also.

Dreamlords.com is reborn 

As you can see, the old website is nowhere to be found and a shiny new one has been published for all of you. We have recently felt that we wanted to do something for you all, and that you certainly are worth a much better website to navigate on. 

When supporting us, you give us the possibility to keep us going and to create even more and better features and stuff for you. This is our way of saying thanks for buying Tribute and Premium time, which is our main source of income.

 

 

Also, we decided to give you a better forum

The old forum clearly wasn’t the best tool for communication, so we decided: Let’s make a better one, which was what we did. This forum is created to give you better means of communication and better functionality. Though the forum will not go online at the same time as the website, our goal is to get it online during the same day.

 

 

The development will continue

As you notice, not everything might seem to fit perfectly with the new website and forum, which is why we will continue to work on them until it works and looks perfect. 

Also, we will continue to work with other new features to the game and give you more to play with. Although you have to be patient, development takes time and it costs money. The best way to speed up our development is to use tribute and premium. The more you give, the more we give. We will always work at our very top, as the players of Dreamlords: The Reawakening are truly precious to us. 

We love you all and we certainly love your enthusiasm to create or play the events inside Elysion. As you might have noticed we are a company that listens to our players very much, and we always take your wishes and ideas into consideration when we decide on where to take the game next, even if it often takes longer than both you and we would like.

PVP Dueling Grounds

Dueling ground matching used to depend on PVP level. It is now based on a completely different system, your Battle Rating. This rating (which you cannot see) depends upon how well you do in the Dueling Grounds. Everyone gets a certain starting value (modified only by number of eras played). 

Battle Rating is now based on your hidden matching rating above and your activity level in the DG. It will be a number between 0 and 120. 

The time of World's Dusk has come - and with it a strange Celestial Exaltation, pouring up as fumes from below. Treasure seem more common than before and workers more exalted than they've ever been. 

Celestial Exaltation is the extreme version of the Celestial Surge event. Unlike Celestial Surge, this eent consists of one more bonus in addition to the Double Gain Bonus, which is the Double Research Speed. 

Though, there is more! We also bring you the event of World's Dusk which means that you will get the opportunity to confront the evil Nightmare Seeders, crawling around with hate and destruction on your precious patria. Kill these, and get a chance to recieve some of the Greatest Rewards of the entire Era.

• The Events World's Dusk and Celestial Exhaltation has now begun.
• The Era and Events will end on Wednesday Feb. 11th at 09:00 (GMT+1).

Details: World's Dusk

During the last days of the Era, you will be able to take on eight quests on your Patria of varying difficulty, from a level of 35 up to 59. Upon completing one of these quests, you have the chance to obtain one of the items from the Corruptor (Dreamlord gear, level 4) set, or a wealth in dissolvable items.

Those of you who manage to finish the final and most difficult of these quests will be awarded the Corruptor's Key of Souls, a weapon which is unique for that particular quest. The gear can be traded unless they are soulbound, and cannot be found anywhere else.
 

 

Lore: Celestial Exhaltation

Maybe it is just a streak of lucky coincidences or a sudden increase in attention of the Dreamer himself... or maybe it is both. All around Elysion, there is a surge in energy. Fumes of gnosis are almost seeping out from cracks in the ground, and treasure seem to gather like moths to one of the lanterns hanging outside of Warlax's Pub.
Though that's not all, the workers of Elysion seem strangely exalted about their work. Maybe it's the fumes of gnosis, or perhaps only increased lust for work - could it all be just a coincidence?

For a few days, all Dreamlords will experience double gains (as in quantity) while engaging in Patria missions. In addition, all employed workers work twice as fast with their research.

 

 

 

Sheit, the Cynos of Nightmares, has sent out his servants with deliveries of resources and weapons to monsters and beasts that are willing to make the life of the Dreamlords and their people difficult.

These servants, simply called Flesh Sacs, are roaming the Patrias. They are living cargo containers, with the only goal in life to carry and defend their contents until they reach their destination, upon which they burst open and die.

If you are lucky enough to see one, and foolish enough to take it on, you might end up with its valuable contents yourself... or your face full of its corrosive innards.

The Flesh Sacs

The Flesh Sac monsters that can be found on your Patria can sometimes drop rare formulas that allow you to craft items of nightmarish powers by using the very remains of the slain beasts. For those who do not want to hope for the formulas to drop there is also the option to purchase them in the Altar of Cynos. However, you will still need to gather the ingredients to the formulas the old fashioned way.

The Flesh Sac's Rancid Remains, as well as any formulas related to this event, will persist through Era restarts. The powerful items they create, however, will not.

The event will end on Monday Jan 19th at 10.00am (GMT+1).

The Blessing of Deira helps you bring back fallen troops to life (PvP only, increases your Field Medical Points), and the Blessing of Ghunan, that magically causes your weapons and gear to retain their durability when fighting other Dreamlords on the foreign (PvP) islands.
